Yeah I get it, though I didn't find this an especially egregious example of the form. It was great to get a taste of some of those experimental films on the big screen, would be amazing (if unlikely) if they ever played here.

Nice to retroactively meet you! Doing fortnightly Sunday shifts atm, hoping to expand that a little to get more exposure though. How many hours a week will you be working? Hopefully can see you around some more.

Next shift is 2nd July, then 16th etc., hoping to pick up a little more around and after MIFF though.

Oh yeah, the wait is more for my benefit as I'm hoping to find a new job after MIFF and don't want to change my roster too often. But I will surely bump into you often enough given how regularly you'll be there.

Oh boy. Won't say much other than 20 minutes in I was ready to walk out, was killing time but thought reading a book in the cafe would have been preferable. Then, somehow, I was won over by a melodrama of epic proportions. Action veers wildly from awful visual noise to stunning technical achievements (the latter mainly involving vehicles).
