Yeah, it was nothing as disgusting as that Mapplethorpe documentary we screened which seemed to imply that being awful to other is people is completely justified if you make great art, but I just found it to be too far on the idolization side of things for my liking.

Likewise! I'll be doing 28 hours every first week, 21 every second (plus some other shifts potentially). Do you know which dates you'll be on? I'll pretty much be there every Sunday from July-onwards due to meetings and/or shifts so I should definitely be around.
Ah, opposite Sunday's to me (my work shifts are every second Sunday) but I'll be there every first Sunday for meetings so say hi!
If you want more shifts then you should seriously just ask. I guess it'd be wise to wait a bit but generally if you want more shifts at ACMI as a volunteer you basically need to request them.
Did you like the exhibition? It's hard for me to really gauge my thoughts on it since I associate it with children running around screaming above all else
