Here's a list of available colors. Of course, hexadecimal value (#RRGGBB) is accepted as well. To use the hexadecimal value, pick a color code (you can find color charts here and there everywhere on the internet) without forgetting to add a # before the value, the whole into brackets.

Shortcuts

A shortcut is a way to link to an item in the RYM database, such as an artist, release, label or genre, as well as user created content such as lists and reviews. Most areas of the site where you can enter free-form text will convert these shortcuts to clickable links to the item in question. In many instances hovering over the link will show the shortcut or the numerics of the shortcut either in a hover-box, or in the status display at bottom of browser. Below you can find an overview of the different kinds of shortcuts that exist, and where to locate them on the site.

Artist

Renders Mudhoney. It can be found in the bottom right corner of the artist profile on Artist pages and in search-display.

Album

Label

Renders Sub Pop Records. It can be found in the top right corner of a Label's profile. See Labels.

Genre

Rating/Review

To shortcut to a user's profile, simply preface their name with a tildé ~, and enclose the combination in [square brackets].

List

YouTube Embed
