You're right. Yeah I saw hem im 2013 in Berlin and last year in LA (at the Hollywood Bowl) and both gigs were really good. I'm positive they'll tour again soon-ish and you'll have a possibility to see them as well. And right now, something seems to be happening on their facebook page. I'm not sure but people are already rumouring about a future tour. We'll see, I guess.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a tour. I think they are great live and I'd like to see them again for sure!
Are you keeping up to date on current music? Do you have any favourites of the year so far?

Yeah I know what you mean. Usually I'm pretty up-to-date on current albums, but this year I've been really unproductive. My favourite is definitely "Blackstar" by Bowie and I'd say Kendrick and Radiohead are close 2 and 3 respectively. Sadly, I didn't enjoy the new AnCo at all really, to be honest :-(
I really enjoyed the new Avalanches album "Wildflower". I'm really vibing on that summer-y stuff at the moment.
Haven't heard that Car Seat Headrest album, but I'll try to check it out, for sure!

I only listened to "The Next Day" from his really recent albums, but he really put all his remaining energy into "Blackstar". If you're a Bowie-fan, don't be surprised if tears start streaming down your face.
I don't think you HAVE to listen to their first record to get into them, but I'd surely advise you to listen to it anyhow, because it's great. One of the most upbeat and danceable albums I've come across.
