Really great, but I respect the technological feats of this game a little more than I actually like to play it (it's very frustrating at points). I'm excited to see what the other DKC entries have in store though.

I remember this being not great, but not as bad as spirit tracks. I'll give it that.

Been a while since I played this but I remember it being really fun for the most part.

This was the first final fantasy I ever played so I gotta give it props for that, but I don't think I will ever return to this again. love the music though.

Definitely a fun time, but I’m not very compelled to play past the first boss at the moment. The graphics are absolutely phenomenal though. I could see myself revisiting this fairly often, and hopefully it grows on me the more I learn about it.

Completely phased out the storyline but this was pretty fun.

Without a doubt, this game has the most captivating world I've ever experienced in a video game. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

2D Zelda perfection. I can't not love this game for how groundbreaking this was for the series.

Haven't tried Bowser's Fury yet but the main game here is incredible. The controls are smooth as butter and the visuals are surprisingly pretty.

Unfortunately I stopped paying for online and gave this to a friend. But this is one of the most unique, fun, and creative shooters out there. Great to put some music on and just zone out to.

This was extraordinarily fun until I became a little too good and nobody liked going against me anymore. But my memories of playing this with friends on the bus for our high school band trips are priceless.

One of the best indie RPG’s you could ever play. Loved this shit in middle school and I still do to this day.

I replay this game annually and yet it never gets old. I practically have the castle memorized but it's still a blast to explore. What keeps me coming back the most is the absolutely stellar soundtrack and art design. I've played most of the other castlevania's, and while they're all great in their own right, none of them hit the spot like this one does for me. It's all just so beautiful and fluid.

What a beautiful fuckin game. Every character, environment, and musical composition has been burned into my brain since I first played it a decade ago. It's extremely hard for a video game to make me emotional to the point of weeping but this one managed to do it several times. I think I like the gameplay and overall world of FF7 better, but I have to call this my favorite for the divine piece of art it is.

Always a blast to play through. The souls mechanic is absolutely genius and the premise is one of the best in the whole castlevania franchise.

As frustrating as this was at points, I can't deny that this was a huge improvement from the first game. The story and cinematics were better, the combat was better (dual wielding), and you even got to play as a covenant elite on some missions.

The level design is frustrating and repetitive at times, but this was still a very fun experience as a newcomer to halo.

The creatures in this game are legitimately terrifying, and very fun to dismember. Can't wait to play the second game.

When I found out Nine Inch Nails did the music for this game, I was instantly hooked. The actual gameplay is fuckin terrific as well. In Doom, the level design was honestly frustrating and confusing to me at points. Here, I never felt lost or bored. I'm very much looking forward to future replays.

Hell of a fun game with some spectacular visual art and character interactions. Will definitely be picking this back up when I want some fast-paced, button-mashing, action roguelike gameplay.

An absolute classic, but the controls are so rigid and I have only ever beaten this using saved states.

The only reason I don't rate this higher is because the second game exists. Really solid foundation though.

I was a Minecraft kid growing up, so a lot of this was pretty foreign to me. But that only made for a fresh and exciting experience. I kinda called it quits after the wall of flesh and unlocking hard mode, but I suspect that I'll return to this game fairly often to keep exploring. Edit: I never came back and I don't really wanna so I'm moving this down to a 3.5

Deserves a 5 for all the childhood memories... that's all I can really say.

Obviously this game changed the world. But I honestly don't find it that fun to play nowadays. Huge props for what it did for gaming though.

I gotta give credit where credit is due. Even though I'm never really in a rush to replay this again.
