Fallout 76 2018
The only reason people play this is to not let a $60+ preorder go in vain or make a market off of the flawed programming of the game by selling ridiculously high damaging weapons and strong armor on site like Ebay and anybody trying to defend the game is paid by Bethesda. YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE! Glad I jumped off the Bethesda wagon years ago, though I kinda wish I could preorder the $200 preorder to sue the fuckers and hurt them financially.

Halo 2 2004
DVD
A sort of "you have to had been there" kind of game, though the Campaign was pretty good last time I remember it despite the annoying thing of Legendary mode sending you back to a check point if any one player died, even in co op mode. First time I've ever seen a game make it free to pair two different weapons which can actually really work to your advantage.

F.E.A.R. 3 2011
Saw the whole game on youtube just to see the conclusion of this. I've learned that if I ever make a horror game I;m hoping to never have to work with a movie director ever. I'm glad I never bought it, I was already tired of shooters by this point ever since being done with FEAR 2 and this game proved my point exactly. Health regeneration like most shooters, generic level layouts, cartoonish comicbook looks, and Paxton proves that he was better left occasionally showing up. Also proves press reviews are worthless.

On one hand, it looks better than the first FEAR and its expansions, riding mechs was pretty kickass and some new enemies too, but after the school level nothing felt fresh in this game or fun. For the first time Ive never even wanted to even play the game again. And dear god what the hell is up with that ending? (And no I dont mean that as a good wtf)

F.E.A.R. 2005
DVD
Looks prerendered nowawadays and isn't super scary, but the intense combat makes up for it. Still love the atmosphere of silent, bloodied office spaces.

Even scarier and harder than FEAR in that the crazy folks run around, hide in pillars, and with bigger areas can sneak up and pummel you from behind, though a taser helps you out. Beware the gunmen. Mobility tho is pretty sluggish and blocking is pretty frustrating as you actually have to time your blocks right.

Not as big as the other Bethesda Fallout games (thanks to Bethesda themselves being assholes to Obsidian) but the scripting here was really good and had memorable dialogues. Side quests didn't feel tossed in either and felt like they helped you out more in solving your main quest. And it's made by some of the guys who worked on Fallout 1 and 2! And some of the voice actors are in here as well.

Doom 2016
Blu-ray
Not a bad reimagining. Where the first one tries to focus on atmosphere and jumpscares that were done better by other shooters years after, this one decides to focus on the over the top, comical aspects of the comic Doom and might overall be better for it to be honest. At least this one brings back some of the stuff from the first Doom games as well as new stuff and hardly any of it feels too repetitive or tiring. Not even on nightmare mode this is still a crazy and challenging game. (Was playing it on Ultraviolence) But I must say, the game's industrial/nu metal ost the worst of all the Doom games.

The only reason to even go back to this is to show off how laughably dumb the AI is and remember at one time this was considered as innovative as the discovery of penicillin. Also the atmosphere is so unnecessarily dead. Thankfully that same studio would finish an FPS three years later that tacked on its mechanics but even better with some futuristic spin and a few fun easter eggs.

A 3D rail shooter hasn't aged as badly and still quite a blast to play. Adding some levels with two or three endings also helped.

I've asked several people who played Goldeneye if they've ever played Perfect Dark before and most people have never played, and sometimes haven't even heard of it which is kind of a shame. Absolute improvement on former (I mean, it recycles some animations, mechanics, etc) with sometimes useful secondary modes but also more challenging AI (nope, you can't get close to them anymore without getting kicked or jabbed at) better level designs with some hidden weapons. Oh, and there's a hidden useful weapon in the second Area 51 level you can access depending on whether or not you let the engineer live in the previous one.
