A brilliant, polished and endlessly replayable space shooter, perhaps my favourite of all-time and certainly my favourite in the Starfox series. The presentation, characters and most importantly the controls and handling are all top-notch.

Linking When you mention an album, artist, film, game, label, etc - it's recommended to link to the item the first time you mention it. Doing so will make it easier to search for your post and give it more visibility. To link an item, use the search box above, or find the shortcut that appears on the page that you want to link. Is Star Fox Nintendo's most popular franchise that only has only truly acclaimed game (this one)? Been thinking today about how every game I've played released after this (Assault, Adventures, Command) have been pretty average and received mixed/average critical reception.
3DS version is slightly different. Some voice acting/lines are better, some are not. I feel it plays a little differently (sometimes i jam lasers on enemies and don't quite get the same kills I expected from the original). Generally speaking, it's not a bad way to play it.
I bet a guy no money, just bragging rights, that I could ace every mission, get the alt title screen, and do it again on Hardmode for the shades in 2 weeks, and they somehow managed to weasel out of it.
wonder how good this would feel on m+k
