and thank you for the compliment. as a native german speaker who wishes that he could write much more expressively I always blush inside when I get complimented for my writing. And as much as I dislike the German language (it tends to become kitschy in the worst ways quit easily) I have to admit that Liebe is a fantastic word.

funnily enough every other umlaut in the german language is very ugly and whenever you hear it you have to think of someone thinking about something stupid out loud.

but yeah, using english on the internet is still weird because you still feel left out because here the use of the internet is still kinda weird to a lot of people and it feels like a huge cultural barrier for some reason.

I used to have a bunch of buddies on last.fm but then they got rid of groups and we only talk elsewhere now, so I often just feel like one of increasingly few lonesome commentators in a stream of kids with bad taste telling even worse jokes or posting "A O T Y" on every page.
