A full adaptation of the 2017 game Baba Is You, in which players must guide a rabbit named Baba and solve puzzles with pushable blocks that determine each puzzle's rules and win conditions.
I'll stare at a puzzle for an hour straight and then quietly accept that I don't know how to complete it and then move on to another one. love it

A concept that's so tasty that I can't even be mad that I'm not able to finish it.

A prime example of how even a one person team can make an amazing game, if it has a good idea and executes it well.
Unlike many commercial games it's very, very challenging. Despite that the levels are fair - they never cheat on you - though often you can appreciate it only after you beat them :P. At the same time the game difficulty can scale to different players. You are never left blocked, as the progression is very non-linear and you always have some levels you can play. You are also not required to beat every single level to unlock and complete the final level of the game.
Audiovisuals are simple and minimalistic, but they fit the game design perfectly.
I will be awaiting more games by Hempuli. And for now I'm appreciating this gem.

This is a game I respect more than I actually love all the way through. But the fact is I got like 20 hours of fun challenging gameplay and 20 hours of just going insane and looking at this absolutely mind-boggling puzzles. Amazingly well-designed, with tonnes of content. Everything about this is great. It doesn't really remind me of the Witness which I also love - I find that game more profound and it jives with me personally more, it's more mysterious.
Okay, one of my biggest complaints with this game is that the Sokoban aspect of the puzzles also gets really tricky and difficult, and some puzzles felt like you were trying to solve the Sokoban rather than play around with the logic.
At my current pace, I'll have beat (not even fully completed, just finished) this game by like 2026. Every couple of months I come back to it, struggle with the last puzzle I did a few months earlier, and then somehow it just clicks. Repeat for a couple more puzzles until I get lost again, get frustrated, then I abandon it for another couple of months.
unfortunately bumped off this game within 5 hours. didn't like maneuvering around in that sokoban way, felt like a lot of the puzzles by that point was less of me finding a solution and more of me banging my head against the wall to find some hidden mechanic of its verbs it hadn't taught me
looked up the level i was struggling on the most only to find out it's apparently "one of the hardest in the main game" and that i should've just skipped it for the time being despite it just being a random numbered puzzle in world 5.
too difficult for its own good. I found myself looking for hints more and more towards the end, at that point might as well not play the game so I just dropped it.
