Yeah, shibuya-kei is an awesome genre and I hope more people learn of it. I was really glad I saw someone listening to this album because I think it should really be more known

Sly_Wank comes from a story I read in which the narrator described masturbating in the woods during a kayak trip with his family as "having a sly wank"
I don't listen to classical because I don't have the ability to interpret series of notes in such a way that I can get some sort of meaning out of it (possibly what's meant by being tone deaf, or at least illiterate), so I try to stick to music that makes what it's expressing more obvious

I have tried listening to stuff like jazz and american primitivism, but I've recently comes to terms with the fact that most of my ratings in those genres are somewhat bogus, they just express a general vibe I get from the releases, which generally manifests itself as a vague neat-but-I-don't-really-get-it 3.5. In the meantime I'm trying to listen to less of those genres or at least go about it in a more demure manner.
The sly_wank story was just something I saw on 4chan years ago, nothing too interesting, I just liked the phrase sly wank

I don't go to /mu/ much anymore, the only board I visit semi-regularly is /lit/
For american primitivism the obvious starting point is John Fahey--I would recommend John Fahey / Blind Joe Death, although it would make sense to have some background knowledge of blues and other styles of american folk music to see where he's coming from. But it's enjoyable on its own too.
