it's a great album but not quite five star material. i wanted my 5 stars to be really something special.

I don't think I'll ever be able to really get into Envy. Pure screaming like that doesn't do much for me.

Hey Chz, I changed it to a compilation because each of the EPs is available individually on iTunes.

Either way though, you're right, it has the potential to be their 'magnum opus'.

That's cool that you've actually talked to Casey C. I have a feeling that the album will go up in rating. I have another Act on my shelf as well as some TREOS but I'm taking it slow. I caught a Jello Biafra spoken word event and the person who introduced him said that back in Dead Kennedy days he would warm up by screaming into a towel for five minutes. Good lord.

That's one hell of a review you wrote for Dream Theater's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence! We were so spoiled in that era.

I personally think that we are embarking on a new era of greatness as I loved the last two albums and fell in love with The Astonishing! Though I am in the minority.

Anywho, I found your music compilation interesting. We have a decent bit in common but you tend to go on a more complex side with your music and I a more poppy or radio friendly. (I love the 80's haha)

I'll eventually start expanding to more prog metal bands. Until then, happy listening! Friended you!
