Would you by any chance be able to recommend me a good rendition of Sibelius' Finlandia? I'm a fan of the piece, and I'd like to hear a relatively definitive version if you know of one.
I've asked Casey before how he warms up his voice and how he maintains it over the course of a tour. He just kinda... wings it. Guy's got huge pipes. I just hope he doesn't totally blow them out and lose all his range by age 40.
http://www.youtube.com/wat...-XF4ygnYPcwB4DE - playlist of 5 performances from my band's gig, you may be interested. The 3rd track 'Atavistic Ennui' is my own composition, and has 3 minutes of me yelling in my friend's face at the end.
If you still want that kick ass soundpage version of "Cliffs of Dover," I think this is it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyntQ-WZUI8. I agree that it is superior to the version on record, though that one has its charm too.
Yeah King Crimson Red is excellent album!
Porcupine Tree is also great.
Oh,thanks for the add on the Last.fm:)
