    this game is so hard to wrap my head around because the narrative has that lynchian quality where it starts off relatively normal and then becomes a mindfuck nightmare in the final act, except it's not that the events themselves are surreal, it's merely how the information of those events are conveyed (i;e what is withheld from the player) that makes it so disorienting
