The coolest you'll ever know

I have particularly poor taste, but when it comes to games? Oh...
it's the worst !!

For anyone concerned, this is my VERY rough rating scale (especially since giving games a numeric score is inherently silly and dumb but I do it anyways)
10: In some shape or form, a game that's going to stick with me permanently. I love it, despite any potential flaws I find it to be woven so deeply into my brainpan that who I am is indistinguishable for how the game has effected me.
9: Functionally a 10, but it never reached a point that my would was wrapped tightly around it's finger.
8: The upper echelon of experiential art, it's strengths are tantamount to Herculean feats in it's ability to convey strongly executed gameplay, design, or story- but is lacking in a certain quality that causes me to be left desiring far more from it.
7: A game that is great, but either has problems that are so glaring that I just can't bring myself to look past them, or I can recognize it's fantastic qualities but it never really clicked with me to the point of adoration.
6: Something good, of legitimate quality- but isn't something I feel I won't remember outside of thinking rather fondly ofit.
5 and below: 5 is the average, so it's an alright experience. Truly forgettable, like a taco bell order. It gets the job done and suffices me, but it's very fine. Certainly worth the fun and time spent on it, but it'd be more akin to a decent time rather than something worth returning to in my sleepless dreams. Everything below a 5 is a range of bad to genuinely horrid, leaving the player feeling like they'd just drank soured milk to the experience of sawing off a gout infected toe. Hardly anything will be rated below a 4 because I think I have decent enough eyes and taste to notice something I would loathe to a point of never playing, but you never know. 5 truly isn't that bad of a rating, it's average.
