Biography
In 1993, Revolver and the UK branch of PIAS (known as APT) merged together. The new company operated as Revolver/APT for a year before changing its name to Vital Distribution in 1994.
In 1997, Vital absorbed RTM and became the new distributor for many RTM-distributed labels.
In 2002, THE (Total Home Entertainment) was enlisted to help with the physical distribution side of the company so Vital could concentrate on its Sales and Marketing division.
Vital Distribution changed its name to PIAS UK in 2008.
