5 Stars - Albums that have consistently blown me away over a long period of time and that I likely have a strong emotional attachment to.
4.5 - Amazing throughout, or at least on average, or albums I feel deserve the recognition despite a few flaws. One of the best albums in its year.
4 - Awesome, but has some minor flaws/inconsistency/is missing something that makes it a true favorite. Albums I can easily binge on but just as easily forget about for stretches of time.
3.5 - Good, but won't have much staying power over the long term. Often has a few great songs but is inconsistent.
3 - Not bad, but it does little to interest/excite me. Could be a mix of inconsistent, generic, or it simply doesn't do much for me.
2.5 - I don't like it. It's not terrible per se, but it probably annoys me to listen to it.
