I like so many different things about your yearly lists. Firstly the music looks varied and worth investigating. Secondly, comments are always a winner and set apart good lists. Thirdly, the fact they are static (don't change once completed) and finally the idiosyncratic naming conventions. All in all, pretty cool.

Yeah I don't expect many people to attach themselves to Face/Off like I do. I just love John Woo so much. If you're going to take on such an absurd idea, might as well take it to the extreme--and he always seems to understand this. I don't expect it to be as emotionally stimulating as The Godfather, but only to work within the context it has chosen. That's why I find it brilliant!

Your Skyfall review was dazzling. Plus, Minutemen, Gang of Four, and Television rule.

And some of the old lists and things will probably work their way back in the coming months; I'm still just figuring out how to retool everything. The new process is promising, but there's a lot of Life Stuff happening lately, so it has been on the back burner the past few weeks.
