I like a lot of music.

5.0 - A classic. This release moves me deeply and has played a part in shaping my personality in some way. This release has imformed me and taught me things about music or film I never knew before, and has brought something to the table that simply cannot be experienced in anything else. Impossible for an album to achieve this in 1 listen.
4.5 - A fantastic release that I find infinitely re-listenable and musically rich. It is likely to move me in some way, although something about the whole package keeps me from ranking it higher. Close to perfection, but not quite there.
4.0 - A solid release that I enjoy listening to all the way through. I can continue finding new things to enjoy about the album, and it's unlikely to wear out its welcome.
3.5 - A good release that I will have the urge to listen to at times, often depending upon mood, but will usually not leave a strong impact. A lot of them are uneven albums with a few strong highlights, or consistently enjoyable albums. This is ideally my most common rating, as I usually have a good idea of what I will like before I listen, but am harder to really impress.
I'm currently working on sorting through my 3.5-4.5 ratings to make them more accurate. I'm not too concerned with specific ratings of albums below this mark because I'm unlikely to listen to them much.
3.0 - Average. This release is listenable and occasionally quite good, but not spectacular. Although it may have some standout songs, as a whole there's little about the release that captures me, and little that offends me.
2.5 - Boring, but competent. I likely won't find much offensive about this, but I will never have the urge to listen to it all the way through. More likely to be an album with a couple of choice cuts.
2.0 - Bad. Still could have a few decent songs, but not worth listening to twice. I rarely keep these albums in my library, usually deleting it in whole or keeping 1 or 2 songs.
1.5 - Bad all the way through, but not wholly unlistenable. I may not listen to it all the way through, but I will find enough worthwhile to at least sample all of the songs. Maybe there's a couple of decent ones. I will never keep this in my library.
1.0 - Unlistenable. If I turn off an album halfway through, it probably gets this rating. Instant deletion from library.
0.5 - I've never given this out because I've never actually listened to an album that deserves this rating, and I will almost certainly know in advance to avoid it.

People who hate superhero movies are boring and old, without exception.

Nice on the vinyl. I'm working on getting a vinyl collection of some of my favorite albums. I definitely want to get The Everglow added to it sometime. I have it on CD somewhere and that was one of the last CDs I ever bought.
