all of the puzzle solutions are 1. walk forward until a dead-end 2. turn around and flip a switch 3. progress down the correct path ah, but sometimes it requires an specific item or timing! ended when it was getting good. why would it introduce a mechanic like the self contained world only to use it once then end?

Picked Wanted during character creation. [spoiler] The crimson fleet invasion at the start at the could've been a great place to start an evil play-through (kill the good people and hijack the ship) but it wasn't an option. Next time I run into pirates at the first moon research base and even talk to them, there was nothing I could do to say "im a criminal lemme join you." Hours later I fly to a planet and get intercepted by people that know my background and offer to hire me or become their enemy. I deny joining and they let me go (for whatever reason). My quest is then "find the crimson fleet" with no map marker. At this point I decided I was done. I wasn't going to put in possibly tens more hours before I could actually play as a criminal, the decision I made at character creation. [/spoiler]
