I have mixed feelings about this game. Im not expierenced with this genre, so I might just not understand some stuff, but I dont think that should matter that much. Puzzles were interesting, but sometimes the solutions were super random. There is a lot of walking around the same rooms repeatedly and trying to find what new stuff you can now pick up, but not a lot of actual thinking. I wish some mechanics/tools were used more, but on the other hand the games lenght wouldnt allow for that, so its not biggie. The story was pretty interesting! I think there should have been a bigger focus on the folk side of things and the characters lacked a bit of depth. They were super stereotypicals and their relationships were changing too quickly for the amount of interactions they were having with each other. So yeah, a lot of pretty good stuff, but there is a lot of unsatisfying elements.

Very pretty with an okay-ish story. There were some good parts like Bayeks relationship with his son, but it wasnt explored much and the story was mostly uninteresting. Combat is okay, the tools you get are not that fun to use and the quests are repetitive at best. Despite that, I somewhat enjoyed the game. There are enough interesting locations within the beautiful world to keep me playing at least till the end.

I will come back to this game, because I cant get through it. The story seems so interesting and I love the world, but the gameplay makes me unable to enjoy it. Its overwhelming, its loud to the point of not being able to hear the story, the combat is terrible, most of the abilities are not that interesting and the guns are awful.

In general the game is okay, but there are plenty of little things to nitpick. It felt like it wanted to include plenty of different characters, places and ideas for the story, but because of the amount of them the game failed to explore any of them in depth. Which sucks, for example OLeary, Smirnov and Weekly seemed so interesting, but I didnt get to know them in any way. Even Thorpe took part only really in the ending while being the main villain. I loved how I could choose during the story wheter Blacksad was e.g. an alcoholic or communist. The game then added little comments throughout to make the choices appear important. Great idea! It allowed to put more of myself in the game. Blacksad overall is a very compelling character and the story allows to truly explore him. While the story was pretty good, the controls with the camera are terrible, combined with interacting taking ages make for an annoying expierence. Also the notes at the top of the screen are obnoxious. I also hate the collectibles. When they rely on you just looking around your screen instead of solving a little puzzle or doing something challenging, they have no reason to be in the game. In conclusion there are a lot of things to be improved upon, but despite that its fun!

Bloodborne 2015
Combat is phenomenal, I love how aggresive and fast-paced it is. There are not that many weapons, but they all stand out. They are complex enough to never get boring. The world, the enemies and the hunter are all stunning! The visuals paired with a great soundtrack create a wonderful atmosphere. The best part for me was how the map was designed. Finding shortcuts was very satisfying and made progressing through the level way more intersting. Im used to linear map designs, so that was something new for me, and I loved it!

The game made a fantastic first impression on me. The gameplay felt super good and the story for the type of game I was expecting was interesting. The graphics are sometimes a bit unhelpful, but it wasnt that annyoing. The only truly awful thing are the duels. They feel unsatisfying and are more of a chore. The real problem starts halfway through the game. At this point the game becomes tedious, and the game is only 5 hours long... The gun selection is limited, the perks are basically useless and the story is only a background to the game. Its not terrible, dont get me wrong, but I wasnt excited about playing more. And to top it off, the last level is the worst part of the game, so at the end I wasnt all that thrilled about it.

So good! It has its flaws, many of the areas, enemies and bosses are just annyoing, but most of them are pretty fun! The world feels great to explore, there are plenty of intersting locations, enemies etc. to discover. I loved how many different builds you can do, but the weapon choice is a bit overwhelming. A bit too long for my taste, but still amazing! I dislike many of the secrets. Illusory walls, having to burn the windmill to make a boss fight easier and other stuff are unecessarily complicated. They add nothing to the game and its unrealistic to expect players to figure them out. Its an already hard game, this just adds to frustration.

It is a beautifuly done game. Everything from the voice acting to the audio design is fantastic. I wouldnt mind the intro being a bit shorter, or rather a cut up and spaced a bit. I dont think there is a need to rush it so much. Also the world is a bit awkwardly explained, e.g. Deadman says that tears are an chiral allergic reaction, or the woman in the cave says that the rain ages stuff - I think the world would benefit either from some mystery or a more natural way to explain it. Them just saying this stuff upfronts feels fake. There are also things like the cuffs Sam gets. He was a currier before, how could he deliver without maps? I like how cuffs explain why he has a map, the menu exists, but it seems weird he didnt have it before. Even a worse version not made by Bridges. On the topic of mystery - the constant encounters with BTs etc. makes them less scary or intersting. I wonder if it could have been approached differently. I dont like how hes forced to join Bridges. What I mean is that: 1) Hes asking questions why should he deliver his mothers body. There is no one to do it and if no one does it they will explode. That is enough of a reason for a COURIER to do it. Why is he pretending to not understand why they want him to do it. 2) Why is delivering her body to the incenerator equal to joingin Bridges. They couldve done it in another way, either he reflects and joinsby himself, or hes actually forced to, as in at gun point or something. I understand the world is complicated and shit, but I dont like how everything is explained in detail like 5 times. The idea between connecting knots with qpids blah blah blah was told so many times. Best is when you go out of your room, die hardman explains this to you just to rexpalin it seconds later when you pick up your order. Why? Sam is not an idiot? Fucking christ. You bring the fucking qpid and diehardman once again says thank you for doin gthis, thanks to you now you connected capital knot city to westpoin right before that the guy wen on a tangent that omg man trhanks weve been disconnected but now were connected to the chiral network STOP I get it. calm down, no need to repeat evcerything a million times. i dont like the bt network. the game is sooo pretty. and i enjoy the gameplay a lot. just walking and delivering parcels is cool. i would enjoy more music though. its good, but it constantly turns off if something happens and then it doesnt resume. the sneaking mission is fantastic!!! adds a lot to the variety of gameplay i wouldnt mind actually talking to real people, and seeing they acxtually are alive, do stuff etc. might make m emore connected to the world. but im aware i barely started the game, so who knows, maybe it will happen or there wil be an expplenation legit everything they say is repeated like 3 times. you get lectured 5 times you can deposite materials and shit. like i get it, chill them constantly calling you and telling you what youre doing is a bit annyoing "hey sam, head to the foundation. deposti the materials required for building" 5 seconds later "hey sam, looks like youve found the site. deposite the meterials required to build' SHUT UP PLEASE. let me enjoy the sound. once they shut up and let me deliver stuff, this game is fire. LOVE IT. i still dislike bts, they just slow stuff down and i would prefer them being something rare, but truly scary, because of how often they appear they arent that mysterious or scary, just annyoing. mule orders are still best. and what... i woudlnt mind it if sam orders werent so random. i know you can deposit orders and then come back for them, but if i get 50kg in capital knot city to deliver to port knot and i ned to finish my orders befor then than and some orders you can do before going to any other station, but with 50kg its not that easy. I like how you can see where many players walk, the little foot paths that are made. This with the addition of other players buildings feels kinda warm. Other people helping you etc. Good stuff. I still hate how you can just combat bts with grenades and shit. Its not that scary anymore. i like how sam acts in the private room. its funny, but it also adds character. the way he smells himself then looks at you and points to the shower etc. the boss fights kinda annoyed me at the end of chapter 2. like reallyy??? i would prefer if bts were something lovecraftian. but well see. that were ust my expectations. im enjoying this a lot as soon as you get to lake knot city this game gets great. i love building roads, helping otbers. the feeling of cooperation in sucha lonely world is great. and the gampleay loopp is super fun. i enjoy walking. discovering new areas etc. good shit! altohugh i wouldnt mind more intersting terrain. something like getting the toolbox for the craftsman was great, because rarely do you walk through abondoned buildings etc. but it was so short:((( i still would prefer if it was more mysdterious, no need for that muchplot too much talking and way to fucking many mails, notes and shit for no reason vehicles are fun, it feels great to be able to transport such large amounts of stuff quickly, altough i wouldnt mind more difficult to accesss terrain. for example the elder in the central region is great - you have to go on foot. but its the only location that works this way and getting to him is pretty easy, you just need to be on foot. i would like something you actually have to build stuff to get. some clever ladders etc. bro i go to the weather station, the engineer tells me i can see weather forecast using my cuffs, than die hardman comes and tells me word for word the same shit. WHJY there are a lot of additions that seem useless. safe houses, postboxes, rain protectors, the bola gun, the variety of grenades you have - all of them have no reason to be in the game. especially the auto deliveries. why? for likes? jesus i think that there is too much depth in so many things. this is a game about delivering packages. the focus should be on land traversal, not on the combat. you have like 4 different grenades, blah blah blah, and for what? you shouldnt want to fight bts no? they are big and scary and they do bad things etc etc and somehow the games make it as if youre a bt killer. dumb! why is there an option to place cargo manually if you can just do it automatically? just do it automatically without asking, really no reason to do that. only the pizza order actually required me to place it in a certain way, so why even bother. vehicles are too effective and make the game boring. make some areas inaccesible to vehicles and great to explore on foot. and remove mules. they are fun when you go into their territory, but when on your route they are just bothersome. you run to their camp and steal a truck, you stale as much as you can or you just traverse it with a bike. noreason for taht. the world feels a bit too full. mules and storm cover 90% of the map so you never are truly alone, and there are so many fucking structers, lost cargo, materials etc. laying everywhere. its just too much. the cargo is uselss, legit no reason for it to extist. it gives you nothing, it adds nothing etc. if yous hould add it, add way less. so its rare. same with vehicles and other players structures. some being in the world is fine, but if there are 5 vehicles in one lace it loosk fakee. death stranding feels good when youre lonely. the world war 1 chapter is questionable? there is too much going on. so complex for no reason. its a game about delivering, dont add so much story and data. this game wants to be deep, complex and mysterious, but since the complexity of the game is added everywhere but into the gameplay and the mystery is just randomness, because instead of making the plot mysterious, they opted to explain everything, bombard you with data and on top of that they added random stuff. this makes the game overwhelming more than interesting. i love the gameplay. everything around it though fucking sucks. i know for a fact that if they focused on the gameplay alone and made everything else simpler this game would be a 10/10 for me. i still enjoy it, but i get annoyed way too often. after some times mules and rain are just a hindrance, not a danger to you. you can ping mules and just ride through them. at worst you get stopped by spears which is boring, slowing effects in games are always frustrating more than anything. especially since i dont see how youre supposed to dodge them. thus deliveries should focus on having an intersting environment and not being dangerous/ too many deliveries that just require you to move stuff from one place to another. this sounds dumb because most of the game is about this, but it should require some challenge. the most interesting ones are the pizza deliveries, one of the only times you have to manually organize your cargo. at the same time there is not much depth besides that. then there are huge orders like the one from lake knot city to the weather station - it requires you to explore and find a way to use the truck in the rocks. thats intresting. i wish there were more deliveries that were unique and instead of moving one thing to another place or going somewhere and retriving some cargo and coming back. there are so many of identical orders. and for what? there are so many of interesting areas that are empty and you never go there. why not make them challenging to navigate and put an order requiring you to do something. look at the first order from craftsman to retrieve stuff from the abondoned workshop. it's an intersting area nowehere else present. similarily retriving packages from the waterfall is amazing, you get to go to somwhere you would never go by yourself. but then there are af ew orders reqireing you to doing exactly the same thing at the waterfall and at this point most of the orders are forgetable. for a game of which the main point is walking, the walking is pretty terrible. more precisely you fall on things you shouldnt, you can run on stuff youi shouldnt and sometimes you run in place instead of falling face into sometehing. its comical how sam falls over sometimes, how vehicles stop in place in front of a rock while at the same time ignoring so many othre things. it feels bad and its weird i hate how underused is the music i still cant gt over how bts and timefall are terrifying but beacause fo gameplay they are mere obstacles

Dishonored 2012
Incredible! I dont like how there is an incentive to avoid killing - this is the most fun way to play, and the player shouldnt be punished for having fun. Nonetheless, stealth feels great, and the maps are immaculate. There is so much thought put into the world like they have thought of every idea a player could have. The story and the ambience of the game are just final touches that made the game so much more enjoyable. This is a pefect open world RPG. The main quest with the plentiful of side quests availible allow the player to pour themselves into the game. Your decisions are difficult, but they have meaning - hey influence the people, the world and some factions. And they are related to a vast range of different topics, which makes the character feel truly personalized! I especially loved the political commentary - it was creative and witty! What seems so hard for so many games today to achieve, Fallout made almost with no effort - creating an intersting open world. Most games make you run after a million map markers with no meaningful stuff to find. FNV doesn't bother with filling the world with boring stuff. When you walk in the desert it is truly empty. But the few map markers you find lead you to interesting locations that actually are meaningful to the world. They are thoughful, and often feature some intersting side quests that add so much backstory to the place. It makes the world alive and meaningful, not just a place with npcs and random loot laying around. All of this allowed me to be super engaged in the game and that what makes it so enjoyable.

It is a very okay game. It is definitely not terrible, but when playing the game I never felt satisfied. There is no challenge! The harden mechanic makes the game plain boring. You could try playing without it, but there is no healing and parrying sucks. I genuinely spent 2 hours trying to understand it and I still dont understand how it works, and I dont think Im that terrible at these games. The worst part is that the games was made as if you couldnt harden. While I get that regular enemies cant react to your harden, I feel like bosses should make you think when you harden and dont just let you cheese them with it. There are plenty other things to nitpick, like the world being unecessarily hard to navigate through, no fast travel even after finishing an area, changing shells requiring items, the tunnels taking ages to pass through , the menu having such long animations and blah, blah, blah. I know it looks like a lot of bad things, but as I said Im just nitpicking, because Im annoyed at the combat. The game really could be decent, but it seems the devs dont understand what makes a soulslike good and only see singular things they liked in other games and just squeezed hardening into it to make the game innovative in some way.

PLAY THIS ON AT LEAST HARD. Its my first turn-based tactic and normal mode was way too easy, hard is just challenging enough to be fun. The combat was great, I liked how many different approaches there were to every fight. I love how progression actually made me feel stronger! Sadly the characters dont have many unique traits, so there really no reason for having 6 different characters. I disliked the looting and how slow the movement outside of combat is. There is no reason for having to so much of it in a game like this. The story is okayish, I didnt care for it, but it wasnt terrible. The ending asked more questions than it answered. Overall I recommend it, but there are issues.

I enjoyed the game mostly because of its world. during the many side-quests, you discover the whole cast of endearing characters and communities. They make for a beautiful world full of hope and in some way also happiness. Most of them are fetch quests and despite that they were pretty entertaining. The graphics and the music were amazing... They complimented the world really well. Sadly the camera didnt let me enjoy the visuals as much as i would like. It felt weird to control. Contrarily to the world, the main characters lack any personality. I dont care they werent that emotional, they were just plain boring. This made engaing in the story a bit hard, but in the end, even with okayish gameplay, the world carried the game so it was a very fun expierience!
