Receiving a mysterious transmission that led them to a high-tech apparatus of unknown origin in the Mojave Wasteland, the Courier is transported to the Big MT, a massive pre-War research complex where countless technological marvels are forged through the power of science.
Fetch quest after fetch quest on an uninteresting map, plus awful dialog that falls somewhere between Reddit and a really unfunny Adult Swim show. Just a shitty headache all around.

This is how you do a DLC the right way. I actually enjoyed this more than I did the core game of New Vegas. This DLC was a lot let tedious, had well designed quests, wasn't overly difficult, and had a solid enough story. Maybe I was just getting tired of the repetition and bland design of the main game, plus the slog of boring side quests. But this didn't drag out too long and had enough to explore and tons of cool new weapons and armor. Yeah the DLC isn't great nor is it groundbreaking, and it does borderline get generic at times, but hell if it was a sign of something the DLC only froze up on me 2 times compared to the dozens the main game did.

i played the New Vegas DLC as they came out, and i distinctly remember this being my least favorite... but I still kinda gave it the benefit of the doubt since everyone seemed to love it. played it again a little over a year ago and honestly it's still the worst. like the setting itself is interesting, but there is no way in hell this dialogue should be praised. like... Bethesda has written better dialogue for their DLC's (Shivering Isles and Point Lookout in particular)
Started this DLC today. And wow I would have never expected myself to not have fun with F:NV. The intro movie was cool. But everything after that is just such a slog. Awful dialogue that just goes on so unbelievably long that I started skimming the text after 10-15 minutes. And just started choosing the out dialogue options to get them to stop talking. Convoluted quest design that I just dont understand. This DLC feels like the opposite of everything F:NV. Guess the free buffs are nice tho.
It's basically 20 minutes of pretty funny dialogues at the start, couple hours of shitty, repetitive gameplay filled with dmg sponge enemies that you often can't sneak past by because they have insane detection rates and 20 minutes of pretty funny dialogues at the end.
the mission where you go into the high school is good everything else is the lowest part of new vegas and the DLCs
