Biography
Sheridan Square Entertainment initially formed in 1999 as a parent company to Artemis Records before expanding and acquiring other labels, including Compendia Music Group in 2004 and the North American V2 branch in 2005. Sheridan Square also operated a distributor named Musicrama, although Koch Entertainment would eventually take over most of the distribution activities. By the end of the decade, the company ran into financial trouble and was sold to IndieBlu Music Holdings LLC in a foreclosure auction. The assets of IndieBlu were acquired by eOne in 2010.
