Profile: The Rounder Records label was formed by a trio of "unrepentant folkies" Bill Nowlin, Ken Irwin and Marian Leighton Levy in 1970. By their second decade, the small imprint had grown into a label group, marked by the launch of their Bullseye Blues subsidiary in 1992. Several offshoots and acquisitions followed, culminating in the purchase of the company by the Concord Music Group in Spring 2010.
