Nine Mile started as a branch of the Red Rhino distribution company under a different name. It joined The Cartel in 1983, becoming one of the main Cartel members, and changed its name to Nine Mile in 1984. By the 1990s, Nine Mile had faded out of existence along with the rest of The Cartel.
