Honestly, these days I'm not sure if Aussie Rules or rugby is my favourite sport! (Or cricket ...!) No question my biggest sporting love is the All Blacks, but I forever wish that New Zealand had a team in the AFL. How did you get into Aussie Rules? I'm surprised to find somebody interested in it from so far away!

Wish I could watch tonight's game between Geelong and St Kilda since it'll be so good, but I've got a concert to attend.

I despise baseball, find it as dull as watching paint dry, but cricket is a huge passion of mine - and it's the one sport I'm good at playing. One sport I want to get into is European handball, but it's hard to find any coverage of it down here. One channel does show some of it but it costs a lot to subscribe. Handball looks fast and exciting ...

I hadn't checked my shoutbox in ages, so excuse my slow reply - love The Bye's club song! Hahaha. I presume you saw the video of The Bye vs Port Adelaide? One of the best things I've ever seen on YouTube. I can't get over how embarrassingly bad Port are this season.

I wonder if Russia will do better in the RWC against Australia than Namibia did ... Australia beat Namibia 142-0 in 2003. All I ask is that Russia beat the USA! And although it's a hopeless case, I'll be cheering for Russia against Australia, since I support ANYBODY playing rugby against Australia (except the US and France).

Hey, thanks for the comment on the club songs list. Now that Freo's in the grand final, I wish they were still using the old version of their song with the proper Volga Boatmen section! It would be awesome.
