Aye I'm glad you liked it. The same director's Instant Swamp is also well worth watching, and there are many quirky low budget comedies from Japan in a similar mold. The company Third Window tends to release a lot of 'em. :)

I haven't seen many Hong Kong movies at all. I recently saw A Simple Life [桃姐] and it was pretty charming.

thanks for the reccommendation, i actually looked at that but i figure i should explore a bit more of their 70's stuff (Future Days is the next one from them i will be trying to listen to). Frankly though, im not big into kraut rock at all so its pretty low on my priorities. But thanks for the tip anyway :)
