I think the QL is the best one with the whole staff. You need to watch the whole thing to appreciate how insane that game is and how they develop their characters in it. Wish they'd go back to it one day. Definitely one of my favorite QLs.

I feel you on the rather ordinary action sequences/cinematography in Spider Man: Homecoming, that was the one thing that really disappointed me in the film. On the other hand, I was entertained throughout because I thought that the actual character of Peter Parker was probably the best we've gotten on-screen. Finds a nice balance between Garfield's apathy and Toby McGuire's self-seriousness (even though I liked the first 2 Sam Rami films). I just liked that Parker was y'know...an actual teenager, and most of the actors playing the teens did well, especially Holland himself. Keaton was good too, even though his character was sorta thrown to the wayside during the second act.

I'm disappointed that you found it boring because even tho it was generic for periods of time, I did find myself laughing more than I thought I would. The downtime between fight scenes and "important moments" were the shining parts of the film IMO. (Also dug how we skip over the "Peter gets bit by Spider" scene)

Rogue Warrior (wherein we see an alternate reality where Jeff Gerstmann is an edgelord) and Lesiure Suit Larry Box Office Bust stand out. The worse the game, the better the QL, generally.

Beastcast is great. I only listen to it while cooking so now I'm motivated to cook more now lol

he used to say shit like this all the time, i remember when was talking to Kyle Kulinski he said that 'a system that produces billionaires is one that shouldn't exist at all' and the whiplash from that to 'haha le pinochet helicopter xD' is pretty severe. there's like a kernel of wrinkles in that vast swathe of smooth chud brain that will never see the light of day simply because at the end of the day he's a certified grifter that's just aimlessly pumping out content to pander to his base of incel teenagers.

Totally get that and as I said, that was the aspect of the film that did let me down. I cooled off a little on Wonder Woman on my second viewing so that may happen in this case as well (whenever I decide to revisit this in the next few months).

How are things in Ireland? I've always been curious about life across the atlantic, sadly I haven't been out of the country yet
