cheers for the recs man. got the whole day tomorrow to sit and blast some tunes before the gig and 'light up gold' is on the list... if you've not already you should check out pc worship. 'toxic love' and 'beat punk' are two perfect albums in a free-punk/noise/grunge stylee. hope you're well!
yo, parkay quarts it turned out to be were fucking unreal. total 1969-live-era velvets vibe, stretching songs out into totally rhythmically tight jams. defiantely up there with the best bands in the world at the minute.
I've done about 1800, but I go back to the 60's, it's like the guy with almost 2 million words, and he lists all the tracking info in is reviews. Hey, please, I need you on this list, just add yourself and the meaning behind your Username: [List262681]
Thanks a ton for reaching out and for the kind words. I'm sorry you've gone through the same or similar experience. Yeah it felt right to share. I feel a bit funny that I've received so much sympathy, it's not like everyone else has rosy lives and likely have much worse problems than myself. And I didn't want to overshadow the incredible music that inspired it. But it just reminds me how awesome people can be and inspires me to be a better person. So again, thank you.
I did ask for it, really. I posted something on RYM, though thank you for the comments.
I guess that is the case, me being not experienced on RYM. However, since RYM seems to have no consistency, even when talking to each other, it's hard for me to not make some sort of conclusion. By the thread I made, the people in the comments were either offering reasonable explanations, shitting on me, or shitting on people who were shitting on me. Y'all violent.
Also, yeah, I kinda rate non-popular stuff, but that's mostly because I've only rated a few albums, and only stuff that Spotify or YouTube reccomended to me. So for some reason, it tends to lean into the more obscure stuff. Also, I'm surprised how quickly that thread blew up - I would've thought most people would pass by it and go, "Fuckin' pleb troll Cuck something" because of the slightly inflammatory comments I made.
