yeah, I really can't stand him. "Hallelujah" is extremely overplayed but not something I'd normally want to listen to anyway, so now any time I hear it it's just flat-out annoying. as for the album, I think it's just a bunch of whining and doesn't really have a whole lot of music in it - nothing really distinctive about it, just wishwash, boring, and overwrought. (I have a similar opinion about John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band but I think that one at least has some character.)

"This has proto-American Idol written all over it." - from my review - pretty much sums it up for me. probably doesn't really deserve 0.5 but there isn't much else out there I'd really dislike listening to more than it :x

on a side note, of my RYM friends' ratings of Grace, 8 out of 32 have rated it 1 star or below. heh *shrug*

Vaya! Yo también me he extrañado al ver que no te tenía como amigo, cuando resulta que tengo metido a todo el foro de MZK! Además tenemos gustos parecidos! Lo de los discos con 5 estrellas, me refería solamente a los de Radiohead (4 de ellos). De todas maneras habría aun más pues tengo muchísimas cosas sin puntuar. Saludos!

Pues es curioso que con la cantidad de grupos preferidos que tenemos en común, a mí The National, salvo contadas canciones, no me entra. En mi caso corre el riesgo de quedar último en esta ronda XD

Hola, muchas gracias por tu comentario. ¿No es una banda extraordinaria? Y claro, este disco es realmente genial. Me parece casi heroico que en una época en la que casi todas las bandas tratan de renovarse o de parecerse a otra cosa (y eso es un reflejo de la sociedad moderna), exista un disco así. Dios, lo que daría por verlos en vivo.
