First-person puzzler
Genre
First-person puzzlers are three-dimensional puzzle games with the perspective and freedom of movement originating from first-person shooters. These games revolve around the manipulation of the player character or environmental objects in space from the view of the player to complete puzzles. These puzzles can come in many forms, such as physics puzzles like Portal (2007), the puzzle platformer Tag: The Power of Paint (2008), logic puzzles in The Talos Principle (2014), or even the perspective puzzles of Superliminal (2019).
