Collect-a-thon platformer

A collect-a-thon platformer is a type of platfomer where progress is achieved through collecting various items. Levels are accessed via a hub world and lack traditional start and end points. A level isn't complete until all of the collectable items are collected. The most popular examples of this style include Banjo-Kazooie (1998) and Donkey Kong 64 (1999).
