If it wasn't a little clunky and annoying it wouldn't be a true imsim. And I say this as someone whose still into the game several hours in.

controls are ok, gameplay is great (to me at least, there are many ways to approach objectives so if you dont like a certain gameplay aspect you can always pretend it doesnt exist and just stick to the playstyle you like), the ai is indeed bad but thats always a side effect to a game of such big scale, story thing is completely subjective i personally think the story is really great, well written and at times clever, nice setting and character portraits too
