Use of sprays, baits and calls are used to attract and approach these animals without alerting them to the player's presence. Some games in the genre include dangerous animals that fight back if they see the player. They do not necessarily have to have modern-day wildlife, as series like Carnivores revolve around shooting dinosaurs.
