The narrative approach is gonna be really hit or miss for most people, but I kind of grew to love it. The gameplay is just incredibly fun once it clicks (which admittedly takes an hour or two of fumbling around) and the world is so fascinating as everything starts to come into focus. It's a game that really gets better the further you get into it, and becomes harder and harder to put down as you progress. Really enjoyed pretty much everything about this. This was my first Supergiant game, I gotta check out the rest of their catalog.

I appreciate the nearly expositionless approach to storytelling they went for but it ends up being a little too cryptic for its own good

Fun game anyways but bastion is so much more memorable for me

Crazy how boring and monotonous the combat (and therefore the whole game) is, especially compared to how Hades turned out.

I was loving the backdoor challenges until the performance tests just became "how many annoying ass fetches can we throw at the player until they rip their hair out"
