Transistor

O segundo jogo da Supergiant Games tem no combate a sua razão de ser. Uma incrível e inovadora mistura de ação em tempo real e combate estratégico por turnos, é viciante desvendar cada uma de suas possibilidades e explorar as combinações possíveis. E a escolha de deixar a dificuldade customizável por meio dos limitadores é brilhante.

O combate é tão bom que me fez praticamente esquecer todo o resto do jogo, que é falho. A narrativa não é tão interessante nem bem contada, e a narração - embora isso talvez não tenha sido um problema em 2014 - me soou canastrona demais. Gosto de como o jogo utiliza a música como um elemento central, mas as faixas em si também não me chamaram tanto a atenção.

Acho que seria interessante se os desenvolvedores dessem ainda mais espaço para o combate brilhar, expandindo as ideias em detrimento da historinha meio capenga. De qualquer forma, se Transistor fosse só o seu combate, já seria um jogo muito bom.

Transistor is a short action adventure game with a unique battle system combining turn based and active combat, and i had a great experience with it. It takes a long time to get into the game, at least for me, and considering its a short game it meant that i spent like half of the game really getting into grips with the unique combat system and the story telling and style. But once it clicked it becomes a really great ride.

I wish they allowed for more combat scenarios since its really fun to experiment with the combat, and the story maybe a bit too convuluted/cryptic for its own good, but overal i really enjoyed, way more than Bastion.

The visuals are amazing hand drawn art and gorgeious, as it is already typical for the work of these devs.

Very cool game. Well balanced gameplay, nice visuals, interesting settings and story. It tends to get a bit too gloomy though, making it unsuitable for some quick fun.

It's a confident game that lends itself to a good first impression but unfortunately the obtuse storytelling leave me little to invest in, the combat offers options but all of which are dull, and the unique world begins to feel monotonous. I think I might like it less than Bastion, which isn't saying much since I struggled to finish it.
