don't think i've ever had such a viscerally repulsive reaction to a video game (compliment) as the part in route b in the shadowlord's castle when you realize that the podtype shade things that are among the easiest enemies to massacre your way through are literal babies

i just finished up the A ending. first half is kinda whatever, solid stuff. second act has great setpieces and (mostly) has a boot on the gas.
