Is there or should there he a game genre that's just called "coin gobbler"; basically games designed to hook players to arcade cabinets via difficulty.
Anyone channelling a get-good has the nostalgia goggles tightened hard. One of the earliest NES games released in the US so you are bound to have nostalgia for it. The game has cute character designs and memorable music but holy shit that's where the fun ends.
