Android is an operating system created by Google and based on the Linux kernel. The Android OS is installed on over 1 billion devices, including smartphones, tablets, consumer electronic devices and gaming consoles such as the OUYA.

Games are available for download through the Google Play Store, the Amazon App Store or released independently by developers. There are hundreds of thousands of games available for Android devices.
