lots of nostalgia for this one in particular so i tend to defend this one a lot more when it comes to 3D sonic. i'll always respect the team behind this one for really going all out when it comes to the story and overall adventure, and for actually pulling it off decently well. i can't deny it's earned its divisive reputation but i'll always have a soft spot for it and all its occasional weirdness.

kinda underrated. soundtrack is awesome.

there's so many things wrong with this game but i genuinely cannot bring myself to hate it. i might even have a little soft spot for it if i'm being honest (the soundtrack probably carries a lot of the weight here) it might be garbage but its very entertaining garbage at least, which i couldn't really say for some other games in this series.

i love having to play through the same buggy game four times in a row to get to the somewhat satisfying ending thanks guys. gee i hope they don't pull anything like this again that would be terrible.
