As a power pop fan, I aim to draw an all-time 2000-album best-of-power pop list, if only to prove that John Borack only mentioned 10% of the genre's best records in his (great) 'Shake Some Action' book...
At last! Your review of Divine Discontent. Great album. I'd be interested to hear your views if you ever get round to Saint Etienne's "Good Humour". It's sugary pop, but upbeat and grooveworthy, and the songs are so good, in the end I had to give it five stars. Very underappreciated 90s classic. Happy ryming man!
