My collection started in earnest during my teenage years and has blossomed ever since. Since I started during the CD boom, my collection is predominantly CDs. However, I still buy CDs, which gives me great satisfaction. My untrained ears cannot detect a significant difference in sound quality with CDs. I also love the convenience factor. I save my vinyl purchases for 7" singles, limited edition variants, and albums I truly love. Although I do love the large sized album art. My interest in cassettes peaked with Joyful Noise Recordings and Burger Records but has died down as of late.

My current RYM project is going through my collection and ensuring that every release I have is added to my RYM collection with the correct information contained in the database. After that, I plan to add/update the album art for my collection. Simultaneously I have been trying to rate and add reviews for the releases in my collection; a project which I might never finish.
