I published book of poetry in 1999- Holy Bull: hymns from an Ambien summer. Hand-numbered, signed print run of 250. Got a few left. And my mother thought I'd never amount to anything (I really haven't) when I dropped out of school at age 15. After a point, you educate yourself anyway.

Baseball is a religion, not a sport. Viva los Gigantes!
I've done a lot of shit, got a lot of dead friends, a lot of war stories and very few triumphs to speak of. My blog (virtually all poetry and/or lyrics) was on Myspace until Timberlake bought it and wiped out the blogs, causing the loss of over a hundred original pieces that have been viewed over 20,000 times~ the link is near the top below my name. I'll post a link when/if I ever get another platform for the work up and running. Fuck you JT...an "artist" should know better than to pull that shit. You destroyed a lot of art to make some money, whoreboy.
RYM is a crucial website and I am very proud to have contributed what little I have to it. The rigid standards can be frustrating, but it's worth it to have an accurate resource available. I have to thank my wife and dogs (Ava & Cash, and the late Scout and Jezebel). Her for not getting too bothered by what I fail to do around here b/c I get sucked into RYM work. The dogs for waiting forever to go out and for late meals, the result of my getting lost in this world sometimes.

a woman once told me
"You have the most
beautiful face
I've ever seen on a man."
(I know, right? No
accounting for taste!)
anyway, her disclaimer
aside, I've never known
how to take a compliment.
I don't know how I should
have responded,
but
I'm pretty sure "You've
never seen Marty
Feldman, have you?"
wasn't it.

That'll do, pig, that'll do.

Maybe I'll consider writing a description. Though I always feel like my vocabulary is limited in terms of describing things.
