I listen to more metal than anything else, and for now I have chosen to rate metal exclusively on this site. I think that praticing an art form largely outside the mainstream gives metal musicians greater artistic freedom than those that play many other genres of music. I especially enjoy the energy, and the prominence of the electric guitar, which is my favorite instrument.
