I like this game, the concept is fun, and the execution is solid. With that said I really hope we're past the point (in fact I think we are) where critics stop creaming themselves whenever a game is meta.
I don't inherently have a problem with meta games, but it's been done enough (even at the point this came out) that I find it really grating when people act like it's mind-blowing, and would prefer people talk about whether or not it's well executed, just like any other story or gameplay element.
