Title
The N64 version was tough to play after recently playing the excellent remaster of Command & Conquer, but the effort gone into bringing an RTS to the console is impressive. The game is largely intact: FMVs are sacrificed due to cartridge space, but the voice acting remains, albeit compressed. The controls are surprisingly functional despite never matching up to the precision of a mouse. Pleasingly, the game supports cartridge saves and even save states, and there's a high-res mode if you have an Expansion Pak, though the frame rate and playability suffers. Both the game itself and the N64's version of it are now dated and redundant, but it remains a playable and admirable example of the first RTS to hit the N64.
