For those looking for a gamey game, perhaps look elsewhere. This feels more akin to watching a TV series or film. There is interaction like mashing buttons and swiping in directions, but the most important part is the moral and psychological decision that you take. In most cases the dialogue or action choices that you take will affect the storyline in really major ways, so choices really matter.
The game has a great art style with a real beautiful look, the action happens in still images rather than real-time movements so it's all very photographic. The music brings a great atmosphere and suspense. But most of all it's really the story that is gripping, how you get to know each of the characters with their personality and their flaws. It's really gripping, and I really couldn't stop playing it. There are 6 chapters and each one is about an hour each, it's not the longest game but I had a really good time with it and just about as much as I would watch a great show. The writing is great here and for me it was a pretty unique experience. I've actually not played any of the Quantic Dream games but this studio is lead by some of their ex-devs so I'm not sure how it compares. Definitely recommended, best of 2022 I've "played" so far.

I can see what they were going for with the art style but they didnt stick the landing. There are also some obnoxious vfx and lazy ui on top of it that dont help
