My rating system: I base scores on a release's song average (and multiply them by 2x on lists to achieve ultimate Pitchfork), rounded to the nearest decimal.

My lists: I rank albums that have same score (8.5 for example) by what feels right. It gives me a nice structure to work off while not being beholden entirely to math (which is impossible anyway since there will be many shared ratings no matter what). I exclude releases less than 20 minutes from my lists, outside one dedicated toward them. This keeps the lists more balanced.

Archived lists: I like looking back on how I felt in the past and comparing to now, so I keep these around but note them as archived, as if to say these aren't reflective of my views anymore -- or, in some instances, are projects I don't currently have plans to continue.
