the vibes were just off

its just immaculate. i played this for nearly 2 years!

such weird writing, cool out of bounds exploration, and a unique tone

i guess i didn't really get this one lol.

i love the universally hated ubisoft classics: map too big, combat too repetitive, quests too frequent. brain off swag on!!!!!

i liked this one a lot, the setting was really well done and exploring the pyramids is the coolest thing ive done in an AC game. clicked with the story a bit more as well. combat and upgrade system sucked though

will never get the Real Experience because i played this with all the accessibility modes on but still a beautifully crafted game with a modern classic soundtrack. though it is one of the only good games out of the depression games trend of the last few years

dead cells and hades should share the title of best roguelike. they complement each other; dead cells edges hades out on combat and enemies, but hades has the better lore, progression system, and writing.

the creative absolutely carries this game. i am kind of sick of the undertale combat system by now but i love being surprised by the dialogue and the character designs

i literally don't remember any of the gameplay but i remember it was scary for a 2d sidescroller!

not sure i will ever finish the game (maybe if i dip again on steam deck) but the scope of the creative achievement is evident off rip. could be the best writing ever in a game.

like.. forget the discourse and whether or not you can get a true unspoiled experience and whatever. the amount of technical polish and detail put into this is so good especially when you play on pc -- the files it places into the game folders, monika knowing what you've done to try to save scum etc. content-wise i hate the sayori jumpscare and the poem minigames are awful and repetitive but this is a landmark game for a reason

absolute trash that i was a little bit hooked on for a certain period of time... the brokenness of the progression (which is, of course, baked in as a way to get you to do transactions) and the thousands of fucked up currencies that i have to re-learn over and over again kills it for me

it was cute and very australian which i liked! it had a personality! the golf itself though wasnt THAT fun

unfortunately this is a perfect game. not as good combat or enemy design as dead cells but the whole is more than the sum of its parts.

yup thats kingie. the campaign mode is absolutely perfect for me who doesn't like sandbox games -- the balance between prescribed tasks and customization is so good.

unbelievable game!!!! insane that the fmv genre is so utterly un-plumbed but i guess that means the absolute diamonds shine even more. when i was playing i couldn't even do the rewinding parts right and only saw flashes of the black & white scenes and i still felt like i got a full experience.
