Makes the base game's pacing a little messy, and the animations seem a little worse, actually? I think it's a cute little romp and going through with no Augs and all stealth gave me a pretty fun challenge on my 'Foxiest of the Hounds + GMDX' run

Did you know on Windows it force closes the game and restarts it on level changes?

DXMD is largely a refinement on what made HR work at all in any capacity. Everything feels a little more tightly designed (except the story, considering it was cut for a sequel). I'm bitter about never receiving its supposed sequel, and probably will be for the rest of my life.

We don't talk about The Fall

GOAP, proper bullet time, and the VK-12 combat shotgun make this a must-play. It *feels* so good but the story is... ehh?

Fond memories of all the time I've sunk into this with friends or just by myself doing ragdoll posing or building something stupid. Has less jank than VTM but the source jank is still with us overall.

A fairly average FPS that I have a lot of fond memories of. God I miss it.

absolutely fucking insane that this is the build engine. What incantations were required for it to work this well? Did the devs have Ken Silverman just in a cryotank ready to thaw whenever they wanted to do the vehicle sections?

incredibly jank, pretty meh story. Not necessarily unenjoyable but it feels incredibly hollow
