I've played and enjoyed other "walking simulators" but this game is way too expensive and doesn't really do anything outstanding with its runtime.

Aesthetically more Mario Galaxy than anything else, I guess Mario Sunshine levels but come on this game is totally moreike Galaxy dumbass average Joe Glitchwave cant identify nothing

AI does a great job with its presentation and writing, but falls over itself a bit too often with its kinda unfunny humour. The twists are great but take too long to get there, and the puzzles are fun, but Uchikoshi can do a lot better than this.

While it's fun for a while, it eventually slips in that the game itself is busywork. If a single person in your lobby isn't trying, or you're playing with people you don't really know/like, the game becomes a rather miserable experience. Among Us isn't fun to *play*, so if people aren't actually trying to engage with it's one genuine mechanic (the conversation based puzzle solving), it becomes a game where you run around a map and slide dials around for 20 minutes.

I need to give Arcanum more of a shot, but my experience with it so far (about 15 hours) made the game feel unfinished. Character progression is far too slow (1 skill point per level up, really?) and it really effects your ability to do anything in the game. Say I want a new spell, well first I need 2 useless prerequisite spells and I need to upgrade my stats to be able to learn the spell, meaning one piece of"progression" can take upward of 3 or 4 levels AKA hours of gameplay. It's a real disappointment coming from Fallout to this.

When I was like 5, the courier screwed up and my copy of the game ended up falling through our deck. When it didn't arrive, my parents called and the courier came to the conclusion it may have been accidentally delivered to a woman named Kyoko living nearby. My dad told me about this, and then the next day he proceeded to call me and say "I AM KYOKO AND I HAVE YOUR GAMEBOY, IF YOU DO NOT GIVE ME ALL YOUR POCKET MONEY I WILL NOT GIVE YOUR GAMEBOY BACK" despite obviously being a man, and obviously being my father, I was terrified and cried my eyes out. When I was about 16 I found the game under the deck. It still worked! Too bad it Sucks Ass. The End.

A cool idea with an interesting execution that unfortunately takes itself in some far too cliche directions to meet it's full potential. I'd have preferred something a little less exceptional and a bit more relatable I guess, since those are the points the game feels like its at its best. Still a great time that's easily worth a play.
